Privacy notice
Draft pending legal review. Items in [square brackets] are to be completed by the business owner.
This notice explains how [Austin Ventour trading name / legal entity], of [business address] ("we"), uses personal data in connection with our business outreach. Contact: [privacy contact email].
What we collect
- Business outreach: publicly published business contact routes (usually a general events or enquiries inbox or contact form), the organisation's public information, and where and when we found it.
- Email events: whether a message was delivered, bounced, marked as spam, replied to, or unsubscribed from. We do not use open or click tracking.
Why and on what basis
We contact businesses whose public information suggests they plan events where a DJ could help. We rely on legitimate interests for this business-to-business contact and record an assessment for each campaign. Where rules for individual subscribers (for example sole traders) apply, we do not send unsolicited marketing email without the required basis.
How long we keep it
Outreach records: reviewed every [365] days and deleted when no longer relevant. Opt-out records are kept permanently so we never contact you again.
Who we share it with
Service providers who host and process data for us: [hosting provider, e.g. Vercel], [database provider, e.g. Neon], [email provider, e.g. Resend], and, where used to help draft messages, [AI provider, e.g. Anthropic] — which receives only public business information, never your contact details. We do not sell data.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or object to our use of your data — including a permanent opt-out from any contact — by using the link in any email or writing to [privacy contact email]. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
International transfers
